I don't think this badge is resoldered, IMO these are yust traces of the original finish...

Does the obverse of the badge show uneven discolouration opposite the hinge? Can't tell from pics,if so it could be resoldered. Stewy

hallo,

it doesn't had been resoldered, it's something from ageing, I have some ss cap skulls with the same thing on it. It can be cleaned or scratch off but Iam afraid to do something wrong or break it ;-)
and this indeed is a hard to find object, Iam proud of it, but since I'll switch to SS, I will sell this one here, so may the quickest have it
