    Afternoon chaps,

I've been offered this badge and would be very grateful if someone would give the thumbs up or thumbs down.

If it is genuine, how much in GBP would be a sensible price? And which maker belongs that mark?

    Thanks, Jamie

Check dealers sites for prices. Shouldnt be difficult on a fairly common award like this one

The maker's Wurster, better pics would help. Valuations we don't do, with collecting it is up to how much any individual is willing to pay. Depending on how badly they want said item. Stewy

Thanks @Stewy Those were the only photos that the guy sent although I may ask for more if I am unlucky auctioning tonight.

    Thanks

I'm pretty certain this is a very dangerous fake from the arch faker Carsten Staegemeir. The attempt to age it with a greasy looking oil finish is typical of this high quality fake, and the area I've highlighted seems to show a known flaw on all these versions, a blob of metal on the second track pin down. So many collectors get caught out by this badge, don't be one. Avoid.

Nice one Ned I was no committal from those pics. I must admit I wouldn't of known it was our dearest Carsten's work. Stewy

I think so. There's a flaw on the reverse as well, even though you can't see it on these crappy pics I wouldn't mind betting it's there.
