Hi. I would like a little help with the authenticity of this tank badge.

Sorry to say but TBH this is a terrible fake.

There is not one attribute on this that even remotely compares to an original. A quick search through the forum will show a few fine examples.

Just check with mine below. Look at the hinge, clasp, pin, rivets and that is just on the reverse.

I edited my post above with a link for you to study. Will take 2 minutes to see the difference so next time you are armed and ready.

IMHO, the JFS awards are the easiest to determine as there were no variations. So if one thing is off, you know it is bad.

I will say that I did see a JFS on auction last year that was deemed a fake and to me it looked perfect. So even if all the standard checklist items appear correct, still be careful.
