At last a bronze version of this excellent and desirable award, in my collection.
Made of zinc, still retains much of it's finish which in hand looks like chocolate color.

Hi donk,
That's a nice Souval PAB in bronze you've got there! The design is a typical Vienna one, this one being a copy of the Weidmann design. The rear set ups varied a lot on Souval pieces, this one is a fairly common one with the 'Broad Type' lettering and wrap around sheet metal hinge. They made a wide pin version which is very unusual for a PAB, and hence is much sort after. The chocolate finish is lovely and I wonder if it was prevalent in these Austrian made awards as it's seen a lot on other Vienna makers badges?
All in all a very nice badge!

I think in my photos the chocolate color is not so obvious. In hand it looks much better.
