Hello, what are your opinions on this PANZER badge? It is an un-marked example and is really quite heavy in its construction and weight. It is a hollow back type but there are just a couple of things that seem slightly unusual to me although they may be fine. Firstly the hinge on the back has a very long height/depth to it, so it makes the pin sit a long way above the surface of the badge, although it is level with the hook! Secoundly the "headlamps" on the tank have very deep holes in them giving a very definate definition to the badge. As you can see in the pictures(i hope)the overall casting is very crisp and clear. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Fallschirmjager
I found an identical insignia like
And I ask myself the same questions as you
    Is it original?
I think the cross is far from the tank!
But is that it proves something?

Thank you in advance for the help

Both badges are fake. The design is taken from an S&L badge but it's let down by the crappy looking eagles head and the dimpled driving lights. The big giveaway as already mentioned, is the 'floating' swastika that is not attached to the turret, something never found on genuine S&L panzer assault badges.

The reverse of both show two variants of many different hardware set up's employed by the faker. The soft scooped reverse is pure fantasy, this type of design was never used by S&L.
