    Hi

After my disastrous purchase today I have began to look at some other badges for sale to cheer me up! I have seen this Panzerkampfabzeichen for sale at a good price however I am not 100% happy with it and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions as to is originality and maker.

    Any help would be great.

    Hello Cameron,
I believe this is a copy of a B.H. Mayer but better photos of the eagles head would be required to be sure.
This is what it should look like.

I agree that a better pic of the eagles head is crucial here as it will show if it's a Mayer copy or possibly a fantasy design of a type 5 badge such as Souval, Orth, Wallpach or EWE that has the incorrect hollow reverse as opposed to the solid form of the later zinc badges. IMO it's very likely a turkey.
