A very nice example you have posted for us to look at!
l really like the way the patina is darker in the recesses. I notice yours has a round wire catch. Here is my bronze example with a little less often seen type of catch.

Is this Bronce finish just paint or something other? In some lights its very dark at all, in other light it looks like schokolade.

Is the hinge, catch and needle okay by mine? needle and catch seems just a little "deformed" from wearing it I would guess - but everything works fine. Do you need for this more pictures?
