I just found this one for sale, I think it's a fake because the details are very crude..
What do you guys think?

The catch on my Silver Frank & Reif is certainly different but there were a number of variants from this maker. A decent reference book would come in handy here!

IMO these broad style catches are mostly seen on fakes.

There is a reference book for the panzer assault badge.
It comes in two volumes
The Panzer Assault Badge of World War II, by Philippe De Bock.

It is not my collecting field,but i have the reference book from Philippe de Bock.The catch from the starting badge in this thread,it is not a catch that normaly was used from Frank & Reif.The maker mark is also a red flag imo....the frontpictures are to small,but imo also a fake.
