Not rare but super high quality in near mint condition.
Tombak Karl Wurster Bronze Type 1.2.3 "Organized Grass" pattern. Characteristic right upper vein in oak leaf is situated higher than the left vein indicating a Die type 2. No die flaw "crud" in inner road wheel (as seen in Die type 1).

I believe it is the same die as my example but a different variant as mine does not have the round wire catch but rather a flat plate catch.

Yes, I have read that Die 2 and later versions can be found with the flat catch but quite uncommon. Very nice.

Very nice example, I have been picking up a few Wursters lately as a foil to my Junkers and I have been pleased with the quality of the badges. Fantastic photo's as well.
