Looks original to me (could do with better pics of the eagles head) shame the pin hinge and hook are missing, maybe ripped of a tunic by an allied souvenir hunter! Regards Paul.
There are very good fakes of this badge.
The grass area seems to have a lot of detail in it and I don't like the eagle's face.
The hardware could have been removed because it would have given this one away, (could have been a ball hinge).

If you look at Ralph's the sharpness and clarity are quite different than the softness of your badge in my opinion .
