Sorry, for me it's fake. My mate Ned will know for sure. Stewy

Without better photos, I'm inclined to agree with Stewy.

Ralph, I don't know how to do that "arrow/circling" carry on. One of my main concerns is. From the reverse below the gun barrel there should be a step (where the drivers view hatch is). This has a slope, which I've only seen on fakes. Eagle's iffy too. Whilst this is not the more common "ball hinge" Aurich fake we see I still believe it's fake. As you say pics are inconclusive & miss out the vital points that could provide a definitive answer. Stewy

The guys have nailed it. This is known as "The Complex Grass Fake" due to the over detailed grass foreground compared to the original Aurich design. Note that it also has a flat back as opposed to the original that was slightly convexed or "dished". It's actually not a bad effort, but a fake all the same.

    Regards, Ned.

Is the "H" in Hermann also not a bit wonky?

I was just looking at this one and wondering to myself-how many fake items are in collections right now, and how many dollars were spent to acquire them all....the totals must be staggering....
