hi. i would like to show you my first tank badge. marked on the backside with zink bubbles, maybe it is typical for this maker / i saw it on more pieces/. front side with very nice silver finish without any damage. every part of the badge looks genuine....thanks for comments and opinions.

A nice Wurster in zinc, the so called 'KWM Classic Set Up' of a small tombak block hinge and roundwire "?" shaped catch on a small circular base.the bubbled patina is indicative of a plated Brennlack finish rather than the later less resilient 'wash' finish that became the norm. The grass pattern on these was different from the earlier 'Chaos' and 'Organised' patterns seen on most of the tombak badges. A good choice for a first Panzerkampfabzeichen.....But beware, they can become addictive.

    Regards, Ned.
