Good to the regiment still exists,
Nice items
Hi Emil,
Sadly 5 BPanc "Skorpion" was disbanded in a NATO reorganisation in around 2000-1 and ceased to exist. Luckily the 4th "Skorpion" regimental colours were not transferred to Poland in the 1990's and are safe at the Sikorski in London otherwise I am sure they would have been lost. I believe the pre-1939 4 BPanc colours were burnt by the regiment in Mokotów fields before the surrender of Warsaw in September 1939 to save them from capture by the the Germans.

Three 5 BPanc berets showing the three different "skorpion" beret badges; a silver wire skorpion emblem, a ruberrised thermal printed version and a metal skorpion held with screw back and clasp. There are at least 4 versions of the metal 5 BPanc skorpion which is taken from the original 4th "skorpion" metal beret badges.
