Question Asbestos in Moro Pattern camoflage???

    Hello all,
Im new to collecting Polish militaria and recently bought a post-WWII Moro pattern Rogatywka cap. While I was poking around online for any more information on this cap I found a couple of claims on diffent sites that the material contains Asbestos fibers. Apprently being put in to make it more fire resistant. I was quite alarmed upon hearing this and joined here to ask if this rumor has any validity to it. Any help or information on this subject would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Sincerly, Mark
