Please help me identify how my grandfather served!
Article about: Hello all I’m new here. I was referred from another forum to try and find some answers. My grandfather died a few days ago and we found these old pictures of him in the Polish military. None

I was able to figure out the third picture. He’s in the center leaning over the motorcycle or whatever that is.

Spent his life between Oswiecim and Krakow- Early life was in Oswiecim
What else are you looking for I’ll give you whatever I can.

He would have been 18 in 1950. So it should have been sometime in the early 50’s. No one knows the year. My grandma thinks he was in for two years.

May I be the first to welcome you to the Forum, have you tried the Polish Army Records Centre at Rembertów only a thought but they might be able to help you.
