Hello all I’m new here. I was referred from another forum to try and find some answers. My grandfather died a few days ago and we found these old pictures of him in the Polish military. None of us knew he served except my grandmother and she does not know any of the details.

He was born in 1932. So I believe he served sometime in the 1950’s. He moved to the US in 1962. He grew up in Oswiecim and lived there during WW2. The stories he had from the war were amazing.

He is here on the right

I have another picture but I am unable to upload it for some reason. Of course it is the one with the most detail.

Thank you all ahead of time.

I was able to figure out the third picture. He’s in the center leaning over the motorcycle or whatever that is.

You should download the pictures to your computer and post them here, not through 3rd party hosting. Just a head's up

He would have been 18 in 1950. So it should have been sometime in the early 50’s. No one knows the year. My grandma thinks he was in for two years.
