    My fellow collectors ,

Not too long ago I got me this nice 1954 dated helmet.
I always liked the sturdy high quality of these and now want to ask
about the meaning of the stamp inside the dome.

    It reads :

    KZWM
    1954
    17/12

Could anyone shed some light on the meaning of this stamp ?

    Thank you very much

The helmet looks russian. I think the KZWM is the makers mark.

As I placed this Question in another forum too I got an answer
    from a collector there.

The meaning of the stamp is :

KZWM = Kieleckie Zakłady Wyrobów Metalowych

Factories of the metalwork in Kielce - city in south Poland
