Technically crowned eagle was legally abolished in 1955. In the early post-war period there were still crowned eagles but not that common. The government in exile added the cross to the crown.
Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
    - forestry and hunting items,

1950 model with a crowned eagle? Odd is it not?
I agree that the liner does not look like the normal WZ50 setup. This one has two seams above the ears.

    Very good Kramspad

Is that the painter did not know the history. Crowned eagle on a WZ50 (have you seen Meyle77 ) = Faked helmet

A picture of the first type of eagle on WZ50.

LWP didn't use them for sure, but some wz.50 were refurbished in the post-1991 period with crowned eagle - you can find them in like new condition on Allegro.
Crowned eagle hat badges were still in limited use in early post-war period.

True, but only very early. The display of a crowned eagle on surviving pre-war badges mounted to headwear was abolished by 1946 - often with a set of side cutter pliers.
