Here is a very nice post-war drivers license, most likely in the British zone.
Later I found out it was issued to Rolf Struckmeier U-Boat captain...would be nice to know what parts of the war he was battling in...

Here is a very nice post-war drivers license, most likely in the British zone.
Later I found out it was issued to Rolf Struckmeier U-Boat captain...would be nice to know what parts of the war he was battling in...

Struckmeier commanded U-608 and was awarded the DKiG. He sunk 5 ships in total including one LCT. Prior to that he served on U-205.
