Ouch, that's rough on the neck..
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
Explain a little more please!
He meant that it was hard to read the signature the way it was posted.
Ah, I will show the other pictures I have.
What’s your opinion on the autograph?
I know nothing about Hitler signatures. Hopefully soon one of our experts will drop in and give their opinion.
Good luck,
Mart
I've been looking at this for a while. I am NOT a signature or handwriting expert. As such, I have attached examples of known Hitler signatures for you to compare too.
Given the location of the signature I would guess we can count out it being an autopen or printed IMHO.
Next to look at is the strokes. The ink looks odd. Not like a fountain pen as you can clearly see the lines/strokes are not solid, almost semi transparent. It almost looks like some type of pencil. Or some type of felt tip pen (not a good sign)
That said, I don't see stops and starts that are typical of forgeries.
Much higher quality close up photos may reveal more.....
Just some food for thought......
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)
I would have no problem with this signature actually, good shape, style, has a naturally flow and you can see where there has been extra pressure on the strokes.
RK document AH signatures are facsimiles so not the best thing to compare it with.
