I like this one alot, Pammy.

It is for keeping record of the events/challenges that needed to be passed in order to continue to wear the badge.
Orienteering, lifesaving, and possibly marksmanship, National Socialist doctrine, etc. I think too, that 'Punkte' are "points'

You should just show photos of the covers in a group if you are going to post any more. Looks like you got hold of a great amount of things from one man.

    Regards, Steve.

THANKS Steve,is it better to keep all of the Adolf Pirkers things together? I mean like should i keep one book/paper with dagger and if so witch one should i keep or keep them all together? I watch the antique road show and i think they said on a item cant remember what it was , but its better to keep them all together rather then splitting them up?

    thanks again steve!!

Pammy, you don't have to show us all the pages, just group them together and photograph the covers.

It is very important that you keep ALL the things together if you can.

They are a part of the history of your family and tell a great story. As a group these thins are extremely valuable and are the things museums like to exhibit !
A safe is a good place for some of the badges, if they are what I think you are going to show us. Ie, if you have a genuine early type, well known maker marked pilot badge, it may be worth around $1,200. to $1,500. dollars alone ! Even the little boxes the badges come in are worth a lot !

    Regards, Steve.

I am going to agree with Steve on this one. And yes, it is important that you keep all these things together, as stated above, they will be worth MUCH more.

Hi Pammy, this is a DLV Deutsche Luftsportverband diary for 1935. Clearly your man had a keen interest in flying and joined this organisation before joining the Luftwaffe proper.

When you say you have another dagger which belonged to him, if you are lucky, it might just be a DLV pattern, which is similar to but longer in length than the 1st pattern Luftwaffe dagger.

The Luftwaffe dagger you show here will have been his.

    Cheers, Ade.
