Coz the date stamp looks like 1944, so check below

cant seem to make out the writing old boy, is it post war written?and how does it read? ive a programme from a ss reunion where his daughter attended after his death, well its more a menu/ comemerative 4 side card, got it from a guy who was a book author and he aquired it for me. i was invited to the one 3 yrs ago but it was cancelled short notice due to left wing activists finding out the place it was to be held, thats the only time ive been close to meeting an ss vetnice peice stuke

It must have broke during the last move, it was at the cellars, along with other signed items of veterans.
Those kind of things are hard to display, when your name figures on them....
