Collecting Funeral Cards
I am looking at purchasing some Nazi soldier funeral cards online and obviously, don't want to get taken and purchase a fake. Is there any good way to tell the original from a reproduction? Also, are there any resources online where you can look up the name of the soldier and get any addition information about where they served?

Lots of good information and examples here:
Post your death notices
If you intend to collect such memorabilia, you will be much better served in the future by referring to them as "German soldiers" rather than as "Nazi soldiers"... Welcome to the Forum and good luck...
As with everything if it's an elite unit or waffen ss it stands a chance of being faked!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
I'm Spartacus, not really i'm Paul!...
No disrespect intended. My apologies.
You are probably best off buying from the more reputable dealers rather than Ebay. Dealers such as...
Hiscoll Military Antiques
Militaria Relics - World War II Antiques & Collectibles
...and many more. Each of these things were printed in their tens & hundreds so you may well spot more than one of the same Death Card, it doesn't necessarily mean they are faked.
