Cool picture Old Hitler was a popular man pre war so it doesn't surprise me

Just curious and trying to learn.What type of uniform did these troops wear that was Green? I have always thought of them(SA) as brown shirts.

Interesting question Phil, I have never seen a green uniform like this before either... It was most probably a colourised black and white picture and the guy over in America in the 1930's putting the colour on the picture just presumed the uniforms were green?

The uniforms should of course have been brown, meaning the artist who made it was not too much into the history of the SA That's how it goes sometimes in the US. Pun intended Just kidding guys......Maybe
