Fallschirmjager photos

Article about: A black light might be of some assistance. On ebay you can buy a UV light for a couple of £'s. If the paper glows then it is likely that the photo's are modern. Just some info I have picked

    Hey all,
I am looking at buying these Fallschirmjager photos. The guy is asking $100 for all. What do you think? They aren't coming from Eastern Europe, so we are good in that regard. Can I have some opinions on them? They look good to me and are the correct small size that you would find in originals. I have posted pics of the front and backs of them. The more opinions the better. (the dealer is reputable but a set of extra opinions never hurt).

Hi , I cannot see the "Agfa Bovira" markings on the back clearly enough to make a call, but if you have them in hand check that the mark is even in it's printing. If it has darker/lighter contrasts or has blotchy areas it will be a hand stamped mark. That would make these post war re-prints.I hope they are period as that would be a good price for originals. Well, I have gotten several different responses. I agree with my friend. He says they are good. I find it hard to believe that new photos would have curled like old photos. I trust the dealer and just wanted some different opinions. Thanks for the opinions (some were worth more than others).

Well most of the opinions are of a negative nature but it's your money and i'm sure the dealer won't be wrong or that modern photos wouldn't curl up ( not one of the usual criteria for determining fakes ) so if your happy to buy them then crack on !!
