The poster you see is an early example, later the SS Legion Flanders would become 27e SS-Frw.-Gren.-Div. 'Langemarck'. They saw alot of action on the eastern front Leningrad region...

Hi Nick, thank you for the translation. I am glad to say you have confirmed my rough translation of said item

The artist who designed this poster did several other designs of posters, recruiting leaflets, etc.

I have a fondness for the Flemish Legion. I may actually have very distant blood ties to the country. My maternal Grandmother's family may well have come from Ghent.
