If it is indeed 272.Infanterie/Grenadier Reg. that was under the 93.Inf.Div. I would bet that is Gottfried WEBER.
He was in command of 93.ID from 1.5-31.5.1943 and at that time the 93.ID was in Russia(North sector).
He looks much alike to the general on the foto and as von Tippelskirch he did also wear glasses that are quite similar to that on the foto.
