German Greetings Card

[HARRY THE MOLE]

A neighbour passed me this card today which she found while having a clearout of old documents in her house. The title at the bottom is in english (THE LAST LOAD). The gold swastika is seperately mounted, heavily embossed and set within a circle which is also embossed. The card is blank inside, although there is a possibility there may have been some kind of insert which was held in place by the tassle. Has anybody any opinions on what it may have been for? And was there a version printed in german?

Agreed. The swastika is a symbol of good luck found in many cultures.
