    Fa. Hallmann Hochofen (I cant put an umlaut over the second "o")
    Klingers translating it as maschinen can not be right as there is no umlaut anywhere in the word maschinen.
    So Fa. Hallmann is a company Fa is the abbreviation for family (familie) this being a family run buisness.
    Hochofen is an industrial oven which i think has something to do with either the smelting of metal or an oven used in enameling.
    So the entry in red line area shows the company the holder would of been working for.
    Werkausweiss= work pass.

    "Fa." is the abbreviation for "Firma" (firm, company), not for Familie. There is no special designation or abbreviaton for family-run businesses.
