Hi,
Can someone help here in understanding the hand writing in the red-bar of this ausweis?
Thanks,
Neil.
What would that mean?
Many thanks.
Fa. Hallmann Hochofen (I cant put an umlaut over the second "o")
Klingers translating it as maschinen can not be right as there is no umlaut anywhere in the word maschinen.
So Fa. Hallmann is a company Fa is the abbreviation for family (familie) this being a family run buisness.
Hochofen is an industrial oven which i think has something to do with either the smelting of metal or an oven used in enameling.
So the entry in red line area shows the company the holder would of been working for.
Werkausweiss= work pass.
Thanks for the information, helps to understand more.
