# 1 b) is the reply, thanking for the invitation, but notifying the ambassador that Hitler would be unable to attend for being away from Berlin at the time.
# 1 c) is an invitation for tea from the head of the NSDAP's Foreign Press Bureau Ernst Hanfstaengl and his wife to Hitler. Added is a handwritten note that Hitler had already replied to Hanfstaengl, notifying him that it was uncertain whether he would be able to attend.
Any idea as to who may have wrote the response? Both appear to be signed by the same person; MD. I know Hitler had several secretary's so possibly one of them?

Thanks, Neil! Yes, born in Philly, now residing in Hatboro. Documents came from a grouping to a vet who lived in Ridley Park, PA.
There is an entire booklet titled German Documents; consists of roughly 20+ pages. Appear to be period copies of documents however as I read through it, I'm wondering if this may have been used for training purposes for Us Military Intelligence school, rather than original documents that required real-time translation.
