Hi,
Would it be possible to understand, first, the meaning of this word Ubertragug and its context when applied to this permit?
Thanks,

Hi Neil
Here is a translation
n. transference, carrying to-, sending to-, crossing, conveyance, attornment; broadcast, transmission; indorsement, signature on a document (as in a check or bill)
Nick
"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
Hi Nick,
Thanks.
But I was thinking maybe it had a special meaning, terminology of the time connected to passport and visa issuing?
Neil.
The word " Ubertragung " means " Transmission " in German, I believe this would be an travel permit.
He was also given the same date multiple-visa in-out of Germany.
But I still do not understand what this means when applied here.
More or less it indicates that this info was "Transcribed"(Ubertragung) from a source document unto this permit -
Hope this helps
Horst
"He who hesitates is lost - is not only lost but miles from the next exit"
I understand.
Something like copied to this passport.
Thanks.
