    Unfortunately Nuno it's true , he is currently facing prosecution in Texas !! I actually helped him with a book he authored as did many other researchers before this was exposed !!

    The guy who ran the museum from which the documents were stolen has sadly died.
    On another note, I have some serious doubts about the authenticity of the signature posted by spyros. It might be that the images are not that good, but it just doesn't ring true. One that needs closer examination.

    I must agree with forum member Woske, I am far more comfortable with the example that began this thread, than the example that was posted by member spyros. Sad to hear that the gentleman at the museum has past away, R.I.P.

    the lads in the 22nd cheshires did there time at "spandow" ( not to sure how thats spelt) some of them have names that girls asked for odd i know,, but someting that was done in the day.. i will have to ask them for copys soon as i get my hands on them will post em

    the place where they where taken after the 2ww,,, Spandau .. the cheshires i am with most did there service there,, and some have got there sigs

    Spandau is a western district of Berlin, famous for its prison, but also as a garrison in former times. Was it also in the British zone of occupation in Berlin, I cannot recall.

    But Himmler wasn't. He died in Lüneberg by his own hand on 23 May 1945. Not sure how Spandau became embroiled in a thread on Himmler's signature???
