I didnt knew about this, how can someone steal items from an holocaust museum?
Thats an horrible thing to do.
I dont know how the guy could sleep at night.
Cheers.
Nuno
Unfortunately Nuno it's true , he is currently facing prosecution in Texas !! I actually helped him with a book he authored as did many other researchers before this was exposed !!

Re: Himmlers signature
The guy who ran the museum from which the documents were stolen has sadly died.
On another note, I have some serious doubts about the authenticity of the signature posted by spyros. It might be that the images are not that good, but it just doesn't ring true. One that needs closer examination.

I must agree with forum member Woske, I am far more comfortable with the example that began this thread, than the example that was posted by member spyros. Sad to hear that the gentleman at the museum has past away, R.I.P.

Re: Himmlers signature
Spandau is a western district of Berlin, famous for its prison, but also as a garrison in former times. Was it also in the British zone of occupation in Berlin, I cannot recall.

I associate myself with the doubts of this leading expert in this material.

But Himmler wasn't. He died in Lüneberg by his own hand on 23 May 1945. Not sure how Spandau became embroiled in a thread on Himmler's signature???
