The card has a quote from Friedrich II (aka Friedrich the Great, Holy Roman Emperor).

Two different Friedrich IIs, Carl. The Holy Roman Emperor was Friedrich II (1194 - 1250); Friedrich der Große [Frederick the Great] was Friedrich II of Prussia (1712 - 1786). The quote is from the latter. It roughly translates as "All resistance will yield to a firm will."

It says "senden Otto Doose und Frau", i.e. "...are sent by Otto Doose and wife". It's a continuation of the "Herzliche Glückwünsche zur Konfirmation" i.e. "Cordial congratulations for your Confirmation" on the obverse.
