Having a art auction house authenticate any signature seems strange. Yes, some good auction houses have some people that know somethings. But bottom line they are working on a commission for selling. They will offer an opinion, but that is just what it is, an opinion. So here is mine, {opinion}, I must agree with the others here, the signature in the book is not even close. Along with other problems here, going into detail is not even worth it because it is so far off no need to go any further. And before you pursue selling this book, how about a professional document examiner authenticate it, not an art auction house.?.

Hi, to the poster of the original thread here, beware of rubber stamp signatures, ball point pen, and the paper or document itself. Secretaries and H. Himmler himself used a rubber stamp to apply his signature much more than he actually signed it by hand.
I would only invest in an item such as this only if it has been professionally authenticated with documentation from a reputable source. K.

Just browsing and came across these signatures, as well as many other supposed high end items ...
The Heinrich Himmler Collection
