Hi Everyone,
I thought I'd show you my newest acquisition. This was a recent birthday present, some of you may recognize it from Herr Butschek's recent auction. I have been after a photo album for a long time now.

Any idea what the writing on the 2nd picture means? It looks like a poem of some sort.

"The joy to create
That is the fount which splits its own ground
One sip from this wave
And you taste the happiness of the world"

If it is a quote, I don't recognize it.

By the way, I love the photo with the caption "Das Bier... der dritte Kamerad", meaning: "Beer... the third comrade". Now that would make for a perfect ad!
