After recognising the writing the one with the motor cycle explains that it is a vist of Commanding General Sepp Dietrich to SS Panzer Regt 12 in autumn 1943 , the photo showing Dietrich in the sidecar , Wunsche the Regimental commander driving and the writer of the script on the rear seat , that man is Wunsche's adjutant SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Georg Iseke !!

So it would appear that both photos have come from Iseke plus a letter to Mark Yerger a well known SS Historian and author and a note to well known Canadian signature collector Patrick Johnson !!

Thank You Paul for your contribution, as i can see you know a lot of Iseke, you had correspondance with him ? to resume the 2 pictures are scripted by Iseke and the rest are scripted by Wunsche to Yerger and Johnson. by chance do you have some pics of Iseke because i only got a couple of him i think...

thanks again for your help and if anyone can translate in english ...i'd love it !!

Yes i had a long period of correspondance with Georg Iseke , a very nice and helpful man who was well respected by friend and foe alike. I learnt much about the internal workings of his units and the personalities he served with especially Wunsche who he served with in both SS Sturmgeschutz Abt 1 and the Hitler Jugend Panzer Regt,

    The documents translate as:

    "Max Wünsche

    Panzer Regiment 12"

    "Autumn 1943.

    general Sepp Dietrich
    en route to the
    mustered
    Panzer Regiment.
    My regimental commander
    Max Wünsche
    is driving,
I am on the passenger seat
    ."

    "1943.
    Formation of
    Panzer Regiment 12.
    Inspection by the
    commanding general
    Sepp Dietrich.
    My regimental commander
    Max Wünsche
    is driving,
I am on the passenger seat
    ."

    "Dedicated in friendship
    to Mr.
    Patrick Johnson, Toronto,
    by Max Wünsche,
    former commander of
    Panzer Regiment 12,
    orderly officer to the
    Führer Adolf Hitler"

    "Dear Mr. Yerger!
Via Otto Weidinger, I received the copies of my

    I cordially thank you.
Enclosed are two photographs of me.

Shame he was banned. I would've liked to have helped him translate Isecke's letters from this lot.
