Memorium Card To Obergefreiter Josef Stumpel.
Hi Chaps,
I thought I'd post up one of my favourites. It's a bit tatty; but Josephs service is interesting with him fighting all over Europe, which I suppose is pretty typical of most German soldiers.
If I've got this right he was first on the Western front, then the Eastern, then based in Denmark & finially in Italy where he was killed neared Rimini. Awarded the Ostmedaille & Wound badge.
Please correct me if I'm wrong or if you can add any info it would be very welcome.
