Oberleutnant and adjutant

Hello,

I have passport of military man:

Paul - Bernhard Engfer

Born in Konigsberg on 12.2.1895.

He was oberleutnant and adjutant in 1920s.

Can somenone tell me if he was on WW2?

Not found any direct evidence, but almost impossible to say without his Soldbuch. However, the 6th Preuß Kraftfahr-Abteilung was a unit under the Reichswehr. The staff and 1st Kompanie being based in Münster, in Wehrkreis VI. Whilst the 2nd and 3rd Kompanie were based in Hannover, also in Wehrkreis VI. The 6th Preuß Kraftfahr-Abteilung 6 being part of the 6th Infantry Division during the Reichswehr period.

There is no mention of any Engfer in the 1936 or 1937 Stellenbesetzung so no-one with that name was serving then. There is mention of an Engfer in the 1938 & 1939 Stellenbesetzung but it isn't this individual as the rank given in the lists is Leutnant.
