Article about: This is a scan of a WWII era photograph that I have. I believe that this German tank column is either in Italy or then Romania judging by the "Farmacie" sign in the background? I r

    The location or units are difficult to ascertain but a great photo !

    If you re-post it watermarked, perhaps one of the Mods would be kind enough to delete the un-watermarked one. I'm sure they'd understand the reasoning. Stewy

    It is late Panzer IV Ausf G or possibly Ausf H and Tiger has mid/production mantlet so it could be date early-mid 1944
    at the earliest and obviously anytime after.
    It is most likely southern Russia.

    The actual sign is FaDMaC36 the "36" could well be an "H". It's very hard to make out & I've no idea what it means. I think it is an "H". Stewy

    It does say FARMACIE on the sign, here's a close up of the sign.
