Papers came with photo album

Hey everyone,

I bought a large photo album of an enlisted Luftwaffe yesterday, and these papers were inside. My German extends as far as Google translate, so can someone shed some light on these documents? The first letter is a notice that his Wehrpas was sent to his wife? I cant read anything about the second letter. I may have his Memorial card as well - the spelling of the name is off.

The first document is addressed to the wife of Franz Josef Pleikner, stating that she already should have been informed about the death of her husband by the administrative office of his division. It contains the usual phrases like "soldierly fullfilment of duties faithful to his oath of allegiance, his Führer, nation and fatherland." She is allowed to keep his enclosed Wehrpass as personal property.

The second document tells her that the death notice of Franz Pleikner was received by the appropriate civil registry office (Standesamt) and that they will issue the certificate of death.

Looks like I have his complete album then, from when he was training in '40 all the way to '44 shortly before he was killed. I got just under 500 pictures. Most are mundane, but I'll post the more interesting ones come this weekend.
