Hi Neil, there is no connection between the OT and the Eisatzgruppen of the SS in this case. I don't think there ever was actually. But the date of 1944 would be too late anyway.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi Ade,

I was thinking about the dates in the first entry, 1941...

    Thanks,
    Neil.

Sorry Neil, I never even noticed that entry! But I doubt any connection.

No connection indeed. This is an Einsatzgruppe of the Organisation Todt.
While the term Einsatzgruppen is commonly associated with the mobile death squads of the Sicherheitspolizei and SD, it is really not unique to them and could be translated simply as "task force".

Three - completely random - present-day examples for use of the term Einsatzgruppe for illustration:
Mitglieder - Alpine Einsatzgruppe Schwaz, AEG Schwaz, AEG-Schwaz, Alpinisten Schwaz, Zillertal, Klettern, Schitouren, Eisklettern, Alpinpolizei Schwaz, (Austrian Alpine Police)
CEG | CATIA EINSATZ GRUPPE (German Automobile manufacturers)
Schnelle Einsatzgruppe (SEG) | DRK Kreisverband Harburg-Land (German Red Cross Harburg)

    Look here ...

Axis History Factbook: Organisation Todt (OT)

It would seem that the Einsatzgruppen were organisational sub-divisions of the OT.
