Photo Reichsbahn,uniform no no?
In another thread Wilhelm Saris and I mused over the absence a period references for uniform regulations of the Reichsbahn.I recently purchased a Reichsbahn collection and this photo was part of it.Here is a photo one would think she is breaking all kinds of regulations.Hmmmm maybe? Maybe not?I am interested for opinions,we tend to think of the Germans at that time being stiff and rigid about uniform decorum. Were they allowed to embellish?

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.

I'm with Ned on this one for sure!
Also, you should have a look at the "Don't tell me they would'nt have worn it" in the Cloth Headgear part of the Forum, for more info as it seems to be the case that some elements of the German military (especially line troops) seem to have much more leeway in their manner of attire than their allied counterparts.
