    Thanks for your contribution! Here is some info from the German war graves registry that you might find interesting:

    Nähere Informationen zu diesem Friedhof erhalten Sie hier.

    Name und die persönlichen Daten des Obengenannten sind auch im Gedenkbuch der Kriegsgräberstätte verzeichnet. Sie können gern einen Auszug bei uns bestellen.

    Bitte beachten Sie, dass auf einigen Friedhöfen nicht die aktuelle Version ausliegt, somit kann der Name Ihres Angehörigen darin evtl. noch nicht verzeichnet sein.

    It looks like your guy was killed at the northern tip of the Eastern Front while taking part in operations around Leningrad. May he rest in peace.

    Here in Belgium in the flanders there were many belgium guys who fought with the germans against the russians in Russia....
