I know we are in the Third Reich section, but the original post from Silberkreuz does say "any war related picture" so here's a personal snap of Churchill that I own on a visit to Egypt/Libya in the desert, I like it as it came in with a grouping from an Africa campaign vet. That's a beauty Jerry, looks like the same chap next to Churchill (wearing the "chip hat" with the small tache) in your picture, who is lurking in the background of mine! Leon.

    Hi Jerry,

Churchill is seen here meeting Fleet Air Arm Officers at RNAS HMS Grebe in Dekheila, Alexandria, Egypt in August 1943. I believe it was loaned to the RN by the Royal Egyptian Air Force from about 1940 and control was returned to them in 1946.

    Regards, Ned.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'
