Hi,

Have got information on this post-war drivers license, it belonged to a Rolf Struckmeier, and he was a U-boat captain...interesting that he did not go down in a U-baot.

Thanks, though it is not in perfect state. Yes, he was captain of U-608, see link:

Would be nice to know if he joined the West-German navy after 1952...

It seems this 1948 British Zone issued piece was used on a 1939 printed license.
