A couple for you G.
This is what was written for it, confused me.
This image of a wounded RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) Feldmeister in the Russian front which taken in 6 September 1941 where a lot of the subject is obscured by the shadow of the photographer is being sale in the ebay for 465 Euro! There are some screwy people out there on eBay buying German WW2 color slides with more money than sense these days!
As always G, an excellent collection. I'm very slowly trying to catch you up, (at this rate it could be another century or so!) and I hold you personally responsible for infecting me with the RAD bug!

A few more pieces..
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
Keep 'em coming G!

good point....I was going to comment on all the ''mud'' pictures I've seen from WW2 pics.......people walked a lot more back then....
they were probably used to it..used to hard work/etc
just like no air conditioning......
my dad grew up in the Depression......very little heat and no AC....also, he would sleep soundly on our back porch--no AC--no heat..it would be like a sauna in the summer
I could sleep there in the winter with sleeping bag and 2 blankets...but no way in the summer
...
great pictures..thanks
what is the guard holding in the ''muddy pic''? ..seems like he has an overcoat and the others do not?
