Rubber Stamp....identity needed?

This is a rubber stamp that came out of a trusted collection of German trinkets....I would love to know more about it's use and authenticity, if possible.....Thank You.

It's apparently from the "Foreign Office of the German Reich"...

I've owned several period stamps such as these over the years. This one has a genuine form, looks good.

The Foreign Office is the same as the Foreign Ministry, dealing with foreign affairs...

Frank: The Auswärtiges Amt (Foreign Office) was headed by Joachim von Ribbentrop 1938-1945 and was responsible for Germany's foreign policies, Embassies, Consulates and all diplomatic services. The high point of the Auswärtiges Amt's diplomatic accomplishments was the 1940 Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact. The specific use for your Stempel is something I can't say other than it was used to stamp official Foreign Office documents, but the number at the bottom of the stamp probably offers a clue about that particular stamp.
