What who wrote about?
Morris
While i keep in contact with many of the RKT veterans who i write too the one I talk to the most is Artur Becker neetz who i exchange letters with once or twice a month where we sent magazines and books to one another. This week he sent me the Latest ODR magazine as well as the Latest Deutsche Militarzeitschrisft, where they have wrote a feature on him. It is actually mostly unknown that at the end of the war Becker Neetz actually was a qualified sharpshooter as he tells in his latest letter where he explains the significance of this article. He is in good heath and still walks every morning he tells me.
I am sorry friends i have no idea why the picture loader can not get iPhone photos around the right way
I will also upload the 2016 ODR formal photo which was published in the most recent article.
What who wrote about?
Is that the rest of the living Ritterkreuzträger????
No it is the ones who attended the OdR JHV . What is quite sad is the small numbers in this photo when i was attending the JHV regulary there were 50-70 RKT present ! Time and age are catching up.
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
