After seeing the veterans of 2016, it stumbled upon this photo. Always interesting to see combatants after the war.

Thank you to Morris for the updates regarding Helmut von Leipzig . As for the OdR photo yes it is true that only Gunter Halm , Hugo Broich and Ludwig Bauer attended the JHV this october , time has very nearly run it's course , when i was in regualr attendance at the meetings up to 70 RKT were present .
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

    Dear friends
Sadly I must highlight that the last winner of the big 3, Knights Cross, German Cross in gold and Close Combat Clasp in Gold Karl Radermacher passed away on the 9/10/2016.
    Another lost to time
